Phnom Penh – Siem Reap half day tour (B, L, D) |

After breakfast, transferred to the boat station for the boat trip to Siem Reap at 07:30 AM. Upon arrival in Siem Reap at 02:00 PM, you will be picked up and transferred to have lunch and half day tour in Siem Reap. After the lunch break, we will head to Small Circuit to witness the Prasat Kravan (Cardamon sanctuary), where we will experience the stunning image of the eight-armed Vishnu in the largest central tower. Then we get going to Banteay Kdei, a massive Buddist temple with four concentric walls; to Srah Srang (Royal Bath); especially to Ta Prohm, which is best known for its originally charming look, with trees and roots intertwined with the carvings and chambers of the buildings. Next, we move to just east of Angkor Thom where stand the Thommanon and Chau Say Tevoda that seem to be known as the twin temple, and to Takeo, the only temple never completed and yet one among the finest. Finally, we enjoy the dinner in Siem Reap town. |

In the morning, we start our tour to the most popular South Gate of Angkor Thom’s before going to Angkor Thom (the temple) which was built by Angkor's greatest king, Jayavarman VII. The major attraction of Angkor Thom is the Bayon, whose exact function and symbolism is still unknown until now. Then we go to Bapoun, which is one of the most spectacular of Ankor’s temples in its heyday; to Terrace of Leper King, another mysterious site to find out; and to Terrace of Elephants that once served as the base for the king’s grand audience hall for the public ceremonies. Now it is time to visit the World Seven Wonder -better known as Angkor Wat- that stands as the most important archaeological site in Southeast Asia. In the evening, comes the moment for the relaxing view from the Phnom Bakheng Hill. |

In the morning we continue to visit the exquisitely decorated pink sandstone temple of Banteay Srey, whose intricate carving has the example of Khmer classical art remaining and stands as the finest monument ever seen on the planet. And then we will visit Kbal Spean (The river of a Thousand lingas) and have lunch at the local restaurant. After lunch we have sometime to relax then transferred to the airport for flight to Saigon VN 822 at 17:20 PM. Upon arrival in Saigon, you will be picked up and transferred to your address. |
